We don't collect your data.

1. Overview

ShiftSplit is built with privacy as the default. The app functions entirely on-device. We do not operate servers, we do not have user accounts, and we do not collect, store, or process any personal information on our end.

2. Data we collect

ShiftSplit does not collect any personal data. All information you enter — including shift times, job names, hourly rates, break durations, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device's local storage (via SwiftData) and, if you choose to enable it, in your personal iCloud account.

We never see this data. It never touches our servers because we don't have any.

3. iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account under Apple's infrastructure via CloudKit. Mekedlan Inc has no access to your CloudKit data under any circumstances.

4. Notifications

If you enable shift reminders, ShiftSplit schedules local notifications entirely on your device using iOS's notification system. No notification content, timing, or preferences are sent to any external server.

5. Analytics & advertising

ShiftSplit contains no analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude), no advertising networks, and no third-party tracking of any kind. There are no ads in the app.

6. Data sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. The only data flow is between your device and your own iCloud account (if enabled), which is governed entirely by Apple.

7. Data deletion

To delete all your ShiftSplit data, delete the app from your device. If iCloud sync was enabled, remove the app's iCloud data by going to:

iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → ShiftSplit → Delete Data

8. Children's privacy

ShiftSplit does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

9. Changes to this policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. We will never introduce data collection practices without updating this policy and, where required, seeking your consent.
